As part of the Energy Council's annual Awards of Excellence, we will be welcoming our esteemed judging panel to London this September to nominate across 11 awards categories, including Deal of the Year, Innovation of the Year, and the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Awards of Excellence represents a global benchmark of excellence for those working across the upstream industry, recognising and honouring the individuals and companies at the forefront of first-class deals, value creation, innovation, or exceptional financial and operating performance over the last 12 months.
WHO'S ATTENDING?
The Judging Committee is comprised of senior leaders from high-profile institutional and private investors, investment / commerical banks, E&P players and industry leading consultants, including the likes of bp, EIG, Legal & General, Mizuho, BlueNord, Wells Fargo, Viaro Energy and many more.
DISCUSSION TOPICS
- Judges vote on shortlists for 11 categories, including NOC of the Year, Small, Mid, and Large Cap of the Year, Exploration of the Year, Innovation of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement Awards Winner.
- The floor is opened for discussion to decide if there are any companies / individuals not listed in that category that should be.
- Following that discussion, judges then vote on each company / individual in the nominee list by a show of hands on who should go through to the final shortlist.
- After the lunch, all judges will vote via email to determine the winners from each shortlist.
