2022 LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD WINNER

We are delighted that the Energy Council Awards of Excellence Lifetime Achievement Award 2022 will be presented to Ben van Beurden, CEO of Shell. With an outstanding 39 year career at Shell, Ben will step down at the end of this year after 8 years as CEO. We look forward to celebrating on 29 November.

2022 EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR WINNER

Congratulations to our Executive of the Year Winner 2022, Bernard Looney, CEO of bp. Bernard leads bp’s transformation to an integrated energy company. He has spent his entire career at bp, joining as an engineer in 1991, and has held a number of operational and managerial positions, including in Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico, Vietnam and the UK North Sea.
