Azam leads our work in Global Energy and Materials in Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. Since joining McKinsey in 2003, he has worked extensively in the energy sector, with oil and gas exploration-and-production (E&P) companies, including national oil companies, leading international oil companies, entrepreneurial independent oil companies, mining companies, and independent power producers. He serves these organizations on holistic-growth and transformation agendas to help them achieve sustainable improvement at scale. He also serves them on strategy, operational transformations, “mega project” acceleration, and leadership development. Azam has worked with clients across the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
