Richard Beament (Horizon Oil Limited’s (ASX:HZN) CEO & Managing Director) – Richard has been Horizon’s CEO for the past 3 years, having formerly been the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. Having been with Horizon for over 15 years, Richard has a long history with managing the Group’s oil and gas investments and arranging and managing the Group’s funding. Most recently Richard has led the company through a significant growth phase with the acquisitions of new production assets in Australia last year, and Thailand this year. These acquisitions have been substantially debt funded, allowing the company to continue to sustain its distributions which remains core to their strategy.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
