Ms. Shandell Szabo was named Vice President, U.S. Exploration in May 2018 after serving as Vice Presidnet, U.S. Onshore Exploration since September 2016. She joined Anadarko in 2001 as an exploration geologist, working U.S. Gulf Coast Regional projects. Since then she has worked in positions of increasing responsibility throughout Anadarko's U.S. onshore portfolio and deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Her most recent positions included Regional Geoscience Manager, Gulf of Mexico, working the Lucius project; Exploration Manager, Central U.S., where she was responsible for the company’s exploration efforts in the Permian and Midcontinent basins; and Director, Investor Relations.

Ms. Szabo holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Geology from Texas Christian University. She is a registered professional geologist in the state of Texas.
