Yvonne Jeffery has more than 30 years of international sustainability and communications experience, having led sustainability strategy and reporting at Vermilion Energy Inc. for the past decade. She previously held leadership roles at the intersection of business, community, and sustainable development, including at the Calgary Herald. She began her career as a logistics officer in the Canadian Army, serving across the country and on a United Nations peacekeeping mission in Cambodia – experiences that sparked a lifelong inquiry into multi-sector collaboration.

Yvonne holds an MSc in Sustainability and Responsibility (with Distinction) from Hult Ashridge, a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of St. Michael’s College, and a BA in English and Management from the University of Calgary. She is also an FSA Credential holder and a member of the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board.
