AGC Presentation
AGC is an International organization created in 1993 by the Republic of Senegal and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau to strenghen their relations and for the development of resources of the continental shelf and fisheries. The area under its jurisdictions (JDZ) is located between azimuths 220° and 268° drawn from Cap Roxo Beacon.
The JDZ is divided currently into six (6) offshore blocks based on the geology and bathymetry. Five (5) blocks are under exploration with good oil evaluation results.
AGC Authority has a long story of exploration activities with wells in shallow and deep water and good seismic coverage with high oil potential.
