Oryx Petroleum

Oryx Petroleum is an international oil exploration company founded in 2010 by the Addax & Oryx Group (AOG). The Corporation’s principal focus is appraisal and development in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and exploration offshore Senegal and Guinea Bissau. Oryx Petroleum is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (ticker: OXC).

In the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Oryx Petroleum has a 65% participating and working interest in the Hawler license area. As at December 31, 2017, Oryx Petroleum had gross (working interest) proved plus probable oil reserves of 122 million barrels. Average gross (100%) production in the second quarter of 2018 was 4,000 barrels per day. Further appraisal and early development drilling is planned in 2018.

Offshore Senegal and Guinea Bissau, Oryx Petroleum has an 80% working interest in the AGC Central license in the AGC administrative area. 3D seismic data was acquired in late 2016 and exploration drilling is expected to commence in 2019.
