Interview with Nouman Ahmad, CEO & Co-Founder at Validere

Nouman is one of Validere’s co-founders, now serving as our Chief Executive Officer. He drives Validere’s mission by leading our sales, marketing and finance teams while managing key stakeholders.
Nouman is an entrepreneur with a passion for solving complex industry problems. Previously, he led operations of APEXA, a successful Toronto-based fintech startup that achieved market dominance in less than 2 years. APEXA, acquired by RGAx, is a smart contracting and compliance platform for the insurance industry.
He also advised technology companies with TD investment banking for over 7 years. At TD, he advised some of Canada’s largest companies on M&A, public and private financings and strategy.
Nouman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
Nouman has also built a leading Canadian political training incubator.
In his spare time, Nouman enjoys playing squash and is an avid cyclist.
