Why attend the Africa Assembly?
For over a decade the Africa Assembly has acted as the leading platform connecting African E&P companies with global capital markets. Postponing the event to June 2021 was not an easy decision to come to however we believe it is the best outcome for us as a network and one that will allow us to come back stronger next year. In the meantime, the Oil and Gas Council is pursuing its mission of connecting our partners with senior O&G executives, financiers and a range of quality investors. We hope that you can join us next year and allow us to offer you:
– Facilitated Networking. Talk to the people you’re there to meet. Through Council Connect, One2One platform, private dinners & lunches match making is not left to chance.
– Branding. Have your brand featured on the main agenda, online through the iCouncil content platform, sent to 80,000 followers throughout the year and not at a single standalone event.
– Global Reach. Showcase your solutions not just to Africa but the world. The Oil & Gas Council network is the only platform that operates in every major O&G and capital markets hub. The Council in the only platform able to bring the O&G world to Africa.
The Oil & Gas Council, and especially the Africa Assembly is probably the only event that I would recommend to attend for any person active in O&G/Power in Africa to reconnect with its network and get valuable insight on the latest industry trends.
The Africa Assembly allowed me to meet with other energy professionals to discuss the most pressing issues that are impacting power development in Africa.
A great event bringing together the industry's key decision makers.
Great event to pick up all the trends on exploration, financing, latest deals, recent success stories and best practices for Africa oil and gas activities. It really helped me broaden my outlook and this will strengthen my business acumen.
Digital Energy Festival
We are all having to think a little bit different right now. Before we launched any virtual event, we wanted to ensure we deliver significant value beyond simply taking a live event and making it digital. We am excited therefore to announce the launch of the Digital Energy Festival (20th Oct – 26th Nov, 2020), which is a joint venture between the Oil & Gas Council, Africa Energy Forum, African Utility Week and the POWERGEN Africa networks. Giving access to a combined audience of over 200,000 it will offer access through one subscription to every aspect of the energy value chain in Africa.

The Africa Energy assembly is one of these very rare occasions where the industry, its investors, and service providers get together to share their experience and ideas in one place. The consistently senior level of attendees mixed with the informal setting leads to high quality discussions, sometimes origination, and always information for our investment decisions. The Council’s team unique approach to identify and play matchmaker at the individual level ensures we maximize the value we get from the conference, and in turn maximize our ability to further invest in energy in Africa.
A great event bringing together the industry's key decision makers.
Well attended with high level and high quality panels and presentations.
