MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition
After a successful gathering in January 2020, during which His Excellency, Mr. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal opened the Summit, we’re delighted to announce the MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition will return to Dakar in July 2021.
As we prepare for the 5th edition, the Summit remains the only event entirely dedicated to exploring oil and gas opportunities in Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau and Guinea Conakry. Recognised as the meeting place for the latest updates on ongoing and upcoming projects and hear directly from local governments on future plans, the Summit has grown tremendously this year. In response to this growth, the Summit will move to the Centre International de Conférences Abdou Diouf (CICAD) and continue its mission to help you:
Sharpen your business strategy and knowledge of the Basin’s fast-growing industry
Meet with ministries, regulators, NOCs and government bodies from the five MSGBC countries, all under one roof
Expand and solidify your network, meeting with both local and international players
Elevate your company’s profile in one of Africa’s most exciting E&P hot spots
Join the 2021 gathering for three days of senior networking opportunities, strategic panels and data-driven presentations.

Success Stories
The three days were extremely beneficial for our company that is trying to enter the oil and gas market. We were able to sound the needs of the market form our company type and lay a strategy plan for the next few month/years, all just from networking and speeking to the actors within the industry.
The MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition is a great place to meet all the key players in the region, one place, same time.
Very good networking opportunity, and also, with the President himself speaking, it underlines the importance of the sector in Senegal's economy going forwards.
I recommend this event for those understanding the emerging importance of the MSGBC Basin and its ultimate impact on this area of the African continent. Everybody was there and really easy to meet. I'll be there again in 2021.
