Ababacar is Managing Director at Impaxis Group and in charge of Advisory and Capital Markets transactions (M&A / ECM / DCM / Structured & Leveraged Finance)
He is also CEO of Impaxis Securities, the licensed broker and capital markets arm of the Group
He is a seasoned investment banker with close to 15 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking activities with a focus in Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
He has originated and executed several transactions of M&A, structured financings and strategy with companies in sectors such as Oil&Gas, Financial Institutions, FMCG, Real Estate, Telecom, General Industries and Retail
His coverage is now focused in Sub-Saharan Africa with an emphasis on the WAEMU region and a past coverage experience in EMENA (Europe Middle East and North Africa)
Before joining Impaxis Capital in 2012, Ababacar was Senior Associate in the HSBC M&A department in Paris
Ababacar previously worked as a Senior Auditor at DELOITTE & Associés in Paris, France
Ababacar is graduated from the Master in Finance (“Magistère BFA”) of Paris Dauphine University with specialization in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking through the MBA of Olin Business School / Washington University in St-Louis (USA)
Ababacar holds also a Master degree in Economics and International Finance (“DEA 106”) from Paris DAUPHINE University
