Dr Aissatou Sy was previously Head of Legal at SY & LY Law Firm for two years (2003-2005).

She holds a Bachelor and Master  in Corporate law,  a Post-Graduate Diploma of Advanced Studies in Economic Business Law from the University of Saint-Louis (SENEGAL), an Accreditation as Procurement Processes Manager from the University of Montreal (CANADA) and graduated in  Continental law from University Paris II (Panthéon-Assas –France).

She is has already completed and succesfully defended an Executive Doctorate in Luxembourg. The topic is related to investment strategies in connection with oil and gas exploration and production in general and senegal base case in particular.

The thesis duly authorized and defended is written under the supervision of Professors KALIKA and LIARTE (respectively professors at Laelyon and Lorraine university. (France)).

It’s awarded to Aissatou the title of Doctor. She holds a certificate of reseach / Univertity of Technology – Sydney (Australia)

Aissatou joined PETROSEN in 2006. As Head of Legal, she is involved in negotiations, representation, drafting, completing Contracts, acting a wide range of upstream, midstream and downstream transactions and/or projects.

Aissatou is member of ITIE SENEGAL (PETROSEN’ Focal Point) and Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN).
