Alastair Bruce has had a career in the oil and gas industry spanning over thirty seven years, working for American, French and Australian international oil and gas operators.  Alastair joined Woodside Energy Ltd in Australia in May 1998 and is currently General Manager, West Africa based in Dakar, Senegal.  .  Immediately prior to arriving in Dakar, Alastair was the Pre-Operations Manager for Browse LNG Project offshore Australia.  While at Woodside, he spent 11 years working with 3 different FPSO’s offshore Australia, including holding the post of Asset Manager for the Cossack Pioneer.  Other notable roles include responsibility for Production Operations at Woodside’s LNG Plant in Western Australia for 3 years achieving record reliability and later responsible for Production Maintenance across all Woodside Australian Operations.
