Cllr. Althea E. Sherman serves as Interim President/CEO of the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL).

As NOCAL's Interim President/CEO, Ms. Sherman is responsible for the management and control of the overall operations and resources of the corporation and is the primary point of communications between the NOCAL Board of Directors and corporate operations. Ms. Sherman also served as Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel of NOCAL for the two years prior to her appointment as Interim President/CEO.
Counselor Sherman, a seasoned corporate transactional attorney, has over 20 years of wide-ranging legal and business experience with major United States corporations;  including Pitney Bowes, Inc., Oracle Corporation (formerly, Siebel Systems, Inc.), AT&T, and Verizon Communications. Cllr. Sherman obtained her bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, USA and a Jurist Doctorate (JD)  from the George Washington University  Law Center in Washington, D.C., USA.
