Andrew Mercer is a Director in the Energy practice at Baringa Partners. Prior to that Andrew spent 15 years at BP where most recently he was Director of Low Carbon, Innovation & Engineering, and also held various roles including Chief Architect for Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Solutions Director for the Upstream Backbone, Information Manager for the Gulf of Mexico Response, VP/CIO for Global Capital Projects and Director of Solution Architecture for the group where he co-led the modernization of the IT function.

Andrew holds a Degree in Computer Science and qualifications from The Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership. Andrew is an active advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion and serves as a Director of GAIN – the Group for Insurance Investment and Neurodiversity. He enjoys travel, walking and time with family & friends.
