Arun has 20 years of experience in the banking industry, including of 15 years of global experience in advising, structuring, and raising finance across energy sector. He is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in providing strategic financial counsel to leading international oil companies, national oil companies, oil and gas independents, utilities and private equity/infrastructure funds.

Over the years, Arun has helped clients in the energy sector to formulate capital raising strategies and raise finance from multiple sources including Export Credit Agencies, Multilaterals, Commercial Banks and Capital Markets. In Société Générale, Arun is senior member of Energy + Group and is responsible for building a seamless energy financing and advisory business in Europe, UK and Norway.

Prior to SG, Arun worked in HSBC’s project financing department based in London, where he was involved in project financing transactions in downstream and mid-stream sector. Arun’s professional experience spans through Africa, Asia, Middle- East and Europe. Within these regions, he offers direct transaction experience in the United Kingdom, Norway, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, Chad, Senegal, Oman, Israel, India, Japan and other countries.
