Astrid Behaghel is an electrical engineer with a 15-year career in the energy sector. After a couple of years in the Oil&Gas business, working on offshore platforms in the North Sea, she worked for the Development Aid in Africa and Asia on improving the access to energy and electricity for the population. Six years ago, she joined BNP Paribas as a senior power expert.
Within BNP Paribas, after advising the Bank on renewable energy projects in different parts of the World, she is now putting her efforts in supporting the clients of the Bank in their transition to a low carbon economy, especially through hydrogen, by bringing her deep expertise of energy systems.
She is leading the hydrogen initiative within the Bank and representing the Bank at the Hydrogen Council.
