Axel Scheuer works as Senior Policy Manager at IOGP, managing a team which oversees a broad range of EU policy initiatives relevant to the oil and gas sector such as security of supply, hydrogen, CCS, methane emissions, and gas market rules. Axel joined IOGP from ExxonMobil, where he has worked for 27 years in various managerial and leading roles along the value chain of the global oil and gas business across Europe and the US. He has vast experience in regulatory affairs both at national and EU levels.
