Baptiste Masi has nearly 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Baptiste is currently New Business Development Director at Mazarine Energy.

Prior to joining Mazarine Energy during the first quarter of 2017, Baptiste was a DRC Operations Manager at Perenco, an independent oil and gas company with gross production of over 400,000 boepd and operations in 15 countries in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, the UK and Vietnam. After joining Perenco in 2004 he held a number of positions in operations, initially as Field Engineer and subsequently as Site Manager & Offshore Installation Manager in Turkey, DRC and Gabon.

Baptiste then transferred to a Business Development position at the Perenco Headquarters before becoming Operations Manager of the DR Congo subsidiary, which was acquired from Fina and Chevron in 1999 and 2004 respectively.

Mr Masi is a graduate of Arts & Metiers Paristech in France and has an MSc in Petroleum Engineering and Project Development, (IFP, France).
