Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer

Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer is head of Corporate Banking in DNB, Norway’s largest bank. She is responsible for business with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Norway as well as equipment and automotive finance in Sweden and Denmark. Benedicte joined DNB in 2015 from Argentum, an asset manager specialising in investments in Private Equity funds on behalf of the Norwegian government and private investors.
Prior to this, she was head of Capital Markets in Sparebanken Vest, finance director in a pan-European FMCG company, Rieber & Søn, and has a total of more than 25 years’ experience from the financial sector in companies such as Citibank International, Paal Wilson Management and Pareto Securities. Benedicte also has extensive experience as a board member in both private and public companies, private and government-owned entities as well as regulated institutions, e.g. the Oslo Stock Exchange (chairman), Export Credit Norway, Sevan Drilling and Norwegian Air Shuttle. She holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics.
