Bonnie Black
VP - Drilling, Pioneer Natural Resources
After working as an industry consultant and small-business owner in Alaska, Bonnie Black joined Pioneer Natural Resources Co. as HSE manager of Alaska operations in 2007. In 2013, she expanded her duties as vice president, environmental and sustainable development. Since then, due to her talent and versatility as an engineer and manager, Ms. Black has held a number of executive roles at Pioneer. She currently serves as vice president, drilling, and is a member of the company’s management committee.
Black graduated from Texas A&M University (TAMU) with a B.S. in civil engineering and is a registered professional environmental engineer.
Black serves on the Civil Engineering Advisory Council at TAMU and on the advisory board of the Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program at MIT.
