David Potter is responsible for all of Scotiabank’s investment banking activities in the Oil & Gas sector globally. Over a more than 20-year career with Scotiabank, David’s Canadian and international transaction experience in the Oil & Gas sector includes leading mergers, acquisitions and divestitures of public and private companies and assets, assessment of strategic alternatives and shareholder value maximization, takeover defense strategies and planning, valuations, fairness opinions as well as debt and equity financing in the public and private capital markets.

David holds a BA (Economics) from Laval University and an MBA from London Business School.
