Dr. C. Laxma Reddy is an upstream Oil & Gas professional with more than three decades of diverse experience covering the entire gamut of E&P industry. Dr. Reddy holds a Master’s degree in Applied Geology and a Ph.D from IIT, Bombay.

He has about  16 years of experience in field operational areas in various sedimentary basins of India and was awarded with several Certificate(s) of merit for excellence in Data Acquisition and monitoring.  He was associated with Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in review of field development plans of fields, performance of Oil & Gas fields and was a member of Corporate War Room of ONGC.  

In his  present leadership role at DGH as Additional Director General (Exploration),  he is responsible for award of acreages, hydrocarbon resource assessment, National Data Repository, geophysical data acquisition, devising policies to apprise Indian sedimentary basins and monetize discoveries.
