For 7 years, and since the company´s incorporation, Fernando Alonso has acted as the Director of Government Affairs of Fermaca, the only private mexican company in the development of natural gas transmission pipelines.
Prior to this position, he was consultant for several companies in the áreas of storage, LNG projects and power plants.
He also held the position of Head of Investment Promotion Unit at the Deparment of Energy, from 2000 to 2003; and was further a representative of the Secretary of Energy at the Embassy of Mexico in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Alonso holds a BA in Economics from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico, and other finance studies.
