Head of Project and Structured Finance

Gavin has 30 years of professional experience, having worked at HSBC, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and Arab Bank Group, and is currently the Head of Project Finance for Sub Saharan Africa at Access Bank. He studied MSc International Management (Oil and Gas Specialisation) at the University of Liverpool.

Mr Greenway's project deal experience is extensive, having provided finance to >40 projects across multiple sectors including oil and gas (+LNG), independent water and power plants, petrochemical plants and large-scale infrastructure transactions; such as
– First utility scale wind farm in Jordan, and World’s largest 1.8 GW solar power development in Egypt
– Large IWPPs (Oman), US$14Bn Refinery (Saudi Arabia), Queen Alia Airport (Jordan) Yemen LNG, Egyptian LNG, and E-Methanex.
– Co-financed 19 World Bank promoted projects across emerging markets in energy, transport, mining and fertiliser.
He has also provided advisory services to African NOC for national gas pipeline and led the restructuring USD1bn+ of a West African oil field and oil services transaction.
