Managing Director, The Carnrite Group
Geoff Angulo joined The Carnrite Group in 2019 and is a Managing Director. Geoff is tasked with building and maintaining Carnrite’s brand and relationships within the private equity and hedge fund communities. Geoff works in partnership with other members of The Carnrite Group’s business development team to identify challenges faced by the firm’s industrial, energy and financial partners, then explore ways Carnrite may be able to provide assistance. Geoff has over 25 years of experience across the oil and gas industry.
Prior to joining Carnrite, Geoff was a Senior Vice President at Jefferies Group LLC, a multinational independent investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City. Geoff led the execution of more than $38 billion of oil and gas industry transactions, including asset acquisitions/dispositions, corporate acquisitions, basin and asset level joint ventures, and corporate finance transactions. Geoff managed multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of all aspects of transactions, including marketing, valuation, technical story, financial modeling, dataset organization, and diligence. Geoff began his career in management consulting with Sterling Consulting Group.
Geoff holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin.
