George Edwards is a Managing Director of IOG Resources, LLC, where he is responsible for the firm’s origination, analysis, structuring, and execution of investments. Prior to joining IOG, he was a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Finance group at EXCO Resources, Inc. and focused on capital markets, acquisitions and divestitures, hedging, and investor relations. He began his career as a CPA in KPMG’s audit practice.

Mr. Edwards earned his B.B.A in Accounting and M.S. in Accounting from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the Dallas Petroleum Club, the Fort Worth Wildcatter’s Association, and several regional ADAM Forums. Additionally, he serves on the Session as Treasurer at Westminster Presbyterian Church of Dallas.
