Gregory F. Hebertson is Vice President, Western Hemisphere Exploration and New Ventures for Murphy Exploration and Production Company. Mr. Hebertson is responsible for all exploration, new ventures, and land activities across the hemisphere and is currently leading the revival of Murphy’s global exploration business.
Prior to joining Murphy, Mr. Hebertson held positions as Senior Vice President – Exploration & Geoscience for Midstates Petroleum Company; Vice President – Global Exploration New Ventures for Talisman Energy; and General Manager – Exploration & Development at Anadarko Petroleum where he worked for nearly 20 years. Mr. Hebertson has extensive global experience and has worked on major hydrocarbon discoveries and development projects in the onshore USA, Canada, Latin America, Africa, Alaska, Europe, Middle East, and the Gulf of Mexico.
