Member of the Executive Board N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie
Hans Coenen joined the Executive Board of Gasunie as of April 1, 2023.
In this function, Hans is responsible for business development of (inter)national gas infrastructure and renewable energy infrastructure.

Before, Hans held several other management positions within Gasunie in both financial and commercial/business development departments.
Most recently as CFO of Gasunie Deutschland (2008-2011) and Vice President Corporate Strategy, Portfolio Management and Business Development (2011-2023)
Hans has been closely involved in the ongoing transformation of Gasunie from a gas transmission company into a sustainable energy infrastructure company. He has extensive experience in the international gas and energy markets and is a driving force behind Gasunie’s new activities in the field of hydrogen, heat, CO2 and green gas.
Hans holds an Engineering degree (1989) from the Agricultural University in Wageningen and a Masters degree (Financial Economics) from the University of Tilburg.
