Geologist of the University of London. He has 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his professional career at NL Baroid Petroleum Services and later joined British Petroleum in 1984, where he held various senior positions in technical and operational management within the United States, Latin America, North Sea and Middle East, Director of Integration of Mergers for Latin America and Manager of Operations in Norway and Colombia. He was also General Manager of BP in Mexico and Iran. In 2005 he joined Wood Mackenzie, where he was Vice President for Latin America for Upstream Consultancy and Business Development. Since April 2012 he is the Manager of the Exploration and Production Business Line of ENAP.
