James Laybourn is the Regional Sales Director for DNV Energy Systems in Asia Pacific covering a wide range of services to the Energy Industry including O&G, Renewables, and Power Grids. He joined DNV in London in 2002 and has since held a range of technical or managerial positions within DNV in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.

He previously managed the upstream/midstream segments for DNV in South East Asia and Australia, with a focus on offshore operations, FSRUs and the gas-to-power market. As a consultant, James has been responsible for a wide range of consultancy studies covering the LNG and Offshore industries.

James is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Cambridge and Master of Science in Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore.
