Javier Zambrano
CEO, Jaguar E&P
Javier joined Topaz in 2014 as VP of Topaz's Energy Division. He currently serves as CEO for JAGUAR, Topaz's E&P subsidiary, where he is responsible for the company's overall management including strategy, asset evaluation & bidding, business development, human resources, investor relations, among other areas.
Before joining Topaz, Javier was a Consultant for Schlumberger Business Consulting (SBC) in Mexico. While at SBC, Javier advised major oil companies and NOC´s by providing strategic guidance in areas such as operations, human resources evaluation, talent development for geo-scientists, prospect portfolio analysis and portfolio optimization.
Prior to his work at Schlumberger, Javier served as the CFO of a leading transportation company in Puebla, México. He started his career working for Vitro, a global glass manufacturer. He was part of the strategic planning division where he performed project valuation, business intelligence, M&A among other strategic assignments.
Javier graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Engineering from ITESM Monterrey and holds an M.B.A from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
