Jean-Charles was born in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) and has done its scholarship in the west of France (La Rochelle). He is graduated in Mechanical & Construction Engineering from INSA de Lyon (France)  and has followed MBA seminars in Project Management, Marketing & Strategy at ESC Lille business school.

Jean-Charles started its career in the car industry, first at Renault, then at Peugeot, and Skoda, with the following positions: R&D Engineer, Motorsport & Racing Engineer, Technical Manager and Project Manager.

After more than 10 years in the car industry, Jean-Charles decided to start a new career in the Oil & Gas industry, with the wish to be more involved in activities in relation with Africa.

He was then hired by Acergy (now Subsea7) where he worked about 10 years as a senior lead engineer for the realization of SURF Deepwater projects and also conventional Shallow water projects mainly in Nigeria and Angola. Jean-Charles has done offshore installation engineering and project management with many missions on offshore sites. Its engineering and construction knowledge combined with its offshore field experience gave him a wide Offshore Oil & Gas business experience.

Jean-Charles joined Saipem in 2014 in the Offshore Commercial & Tendering Department as Proposal Manager for Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind Power projects.

He has been recently appointed Saipem Senegal Resident Manager in Dakar.
