Jessica Jackson
Vice President, Environment, Health & Safety, Apache
Jessica Jackson joined Apache in February of 2020 as vice president – Environment, Health, and Safety. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Jackson held various positions of increasing responsibility at Murphy Oil Corporation. Ms. Jackson also served as a senior advisor of crisis management at Witt O’Brien’s and a regional crisis information lead for the City of Houston. She began her career in Homeland Security for the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management in Texas.
In 2021, Ms. Jackson received recognition for being a ‘Top 100 Diverse Leader in Energy'. In 2017, she was named by the Houston Business Journal as a “Houston Top 40 Under 40” recipient for leadership, overcoming oil and gas industry challenges and community involvement. Ms. Jackson is a passionate driver of pragmatic business with a proven track record leading high performance teams. She’s a volunteer at the POSSE Foundation and United Way and serves on numerous boards, including Center for Offshore Safety, OneFuture, and the Apache PAC.
Ms. Jackson holds a Master’s Degree in public administration and a Bachelor of Science in public policy and political science from the University of Houston.
