
Johanna Haggstrom
Director Technology, Haliburton
Johanna Haggstrom is the director of technology for the Baroid product service line (PSL) at Halliburton Co. and is based in Houston, Texas. Her responsibilities include overseeing Baroid’s technology investment and intellectual asset management, the development of new products and services, and the strategy and structure of Baroid’s global technology organization. Dr. Haggstrom joined Halliburton in 2007 as a senior scientist-chemist, for the Production Enhancement PSL.
Throughout her tenure, she served in multiple leadership roles within the Halliburton Technology organization, including as tenet manager, water conservation, in Production Enhancement, as well as technology manager for Halliburton Worldwide GmbH, HWG, based in Switzerland. Prior to her current role, she was also the discipline lead-chemical sciences, for Production Enhancement. Dr. Haggstrom holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Mälardalen University in Sweden and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Kansas State University, and she has contributed to more than 35 patents, patent applications and published papers. She is a graduate of Halliburton’s year-long development regimen, the President’s Leadership Excellence program.
