Professor Jonathan Stern, Distinguished Research Fellow and Founder of the Natural Gas Research Programme at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES). He holds professorships at the University of Dundee and Imperial College, London; and fellowships at the Energy Delta Institute and the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan (in Tokyo). He is the author and editor of several books, including: Natural Gas in Asia; Natural Gas Markets in the Middle East and North Africa and The Pricing of Internationally Traded Gas. He is author of two chapters in LNG Markets in Transition: the Great Reconfiguration. His most recent papers on: The Future of Gas in Decarbonising European Energy Markets and Challenges to the Future of Gas: unburnable or unaffordable were published in 2017.
