Jorge Farfán
Regional Investment Director – LatAm, Bamboo Capital Partners
Jorge Farfan is Investment Director responsible for Bamboo Capital Partners operations across LatAm. Prior to joining Bamboo, Jorge was Senior Manager for Investment Banking Advisory at EY in the North LatAm region, where he advised for more than five years clients from Peru, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, USA and other Asian and European countries, on various financial transactions in M&A, value creation, project finance, and capital raising for financial, retail, health, energy, and infrastructure companies.
Before EY, Jorge worked for three years as Head of the Risk Management Competence Center and Consulting Project Manager for the management consulting arm of Frankfurt School based in Frankfurt, Germany. In this position, he advised several banks and financial institutions in risk management, strategic management, product development, and financial capital structure in more than 15 countries in Africa, LatAm, and Asia. Jorge started his career in the Financial Regulatory Agency in Peru supervising financial operations and the risk management framework of several financial institutions.
Jorge holds a MPA from Columbia University, a Master in Finance from Universidad del Pacifico, and a B.A in Economics from Universidad Catolica in Peru. Recently, Jorge took the Private Equity Executive Program from LAVCA and the Wharton School.
