Geological engineer from the Central University of Ecuador, he has 37 years of experience in exploration and development of hydrocarbon fields. His work has contributed to the discovery of approximately 1.1 billion barrels of oil in the Oriente basin of Ecuador. His experience includes knowledge of geosciences techniques for the integral evaluation of oil and gas fields that lead to efficient management of hydrocarbon resources exploitation processes. He has knowledge of improved oil recovery processes (IOR-EOR) and management of mature fields. Since 2010, he is part of the Ecuadorian public exploration and exploitation company PETROAMAZONAS EP in the management of offshore assets, Amistad.
