Juan Manuel Delgado Amador is general director of the oil company Wintershall Dea Mexico. Before joining WD, he was Managing Director and Chairman of the Schlumberger Mexico and Central America group, his 31-year career at Schlumberger led him to occupy management positions in 9 different countries on all continents.

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Association of Hydrocarbons Companies (AMEXHI) and president of the British Chamber Energy group as well as a member of the College of Petroleum Engineers of Mexico, the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Juan Manuel graduated as Petroleum Engineer from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and studied French in Avignon France, executive courses in Finance and studied MBA Business Administration at the IMD Institute in Switzerland.
