Kareemah Mohamed is a recognized leader in energy markets with expertise on M&A strategy and valuation, innovation sourcing and energy transition navigation. Recently, she has been focused on the role of technology and innovation in the upstream energy sector and impact of technology portfolios on corporate strategy. She is also leading research around the evolution of service sector- operator dynamics, data and technology- lead reserves replacement strategies and the role of public policy in technology deployment. Ms. Mohamed also advises on the CERAWeek Agora program centered on emerging technologies and their role in the energy ecosystem.

A Geoscientist by background, she has worked in both R&D (research and development) and business development capacities at Marathon Oil and ConocoPhillips in domestic and international roles throughout her career. She was also previously Managing Director of a consulting firm specializing in oil and gas acquisition and divestiture strategy globally and is currently an independent advisor to PetroAlpha Energy, a private capital fund.

Ms. Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Petroleum Engineering, a Master of Science in Geology and has passed CFA Level 1. She also possesses credentials from The Wharton School in Business Fundamentals and Reservoir Geomechanics from Stanford.
