Kim Code is currently Vice President of Shell’s Heavy Oil In Situ business based in Calgary, Alberta, where she lives with her family. She started working with Shell as a summer student while still at UBC, and her love of travel made a career with the same company a perfect fit: She has worked around the world, living in both western and eastern Europe.

Kim is also dedicated to helping young women enter careers in engineering and helping women ascend into leadership roles in their organizations. She has volunteered her time with UBC’s Women in Engineering program, as a speaker and mentor for students, and was recently a Keynote Speaker at Women Engineering the Future: The Annual Expo for Women Engineers.
