Lamé Verre is an experienced finance and commercial professional with ~ 20 years’ experience working across the oil and gas value chain in several geographical locations.

Lamé is currently the Senior Regional Manager for Europe, Eurasia and Sub-Saharan Africa (EESSA) regions, at Halliburton. In this role she is responsible for Treasury Customer Financial Services driving and managing the region’s credit and collections as well as the overall accounts receivables component of working capital.

Before joining Halliburton, Lamé founded Alaric & Associates, an independent oil and gas consulting firm focused on upstream and midstream sectors. She was also the co-Founder and CFO of ScanTech International; a service company focused on oil and gas pipeline construction and rehabilitation solutions. In addition, she was a founding team member of Monetizing Gas Africa Inc., a mid-stream infrastructure start-up focusing on bringing gas to market in Sub-Sahara Africa as the Strategy and Commercial Advisor.
Prior to becoming an Entrepreneur, Lamé started her career with ENI Exploration and Production as a Petroleum Economist working in Italy and Nigeria, before relocating to the UK where she held a number of instrumental positions for companies such as Sterling Energy Plc, UK and E.ON E&P, where she was Head of Economics.

After over a decade of core upstream focus, Lamé moved into oil and gas consulting when she joined Gaffney, Cline & Associates (a subsidiary of Baker Hughes, a GE company) as a Senior Commercial Consultant in London and subsequently serving in the Houston office as Manager Petroleum Economics for the Americas.

Lamé holds an MBA from Imperial College, a Post-Grad Certification in Corporate Finance from the London Business School, a Masters in Energy, Environmental Management and Economics from the Eni corporate University, Italy and a B.Sc. in Economics and Statistics from the University of Benin, Nigeria.
