Laurens Gaarenstroom is the General Manager for Shell’s Unconventional business in Latin America since 2013. Prior to that he held management positions in conventional exploration in Nigeria and the USA. He also worked in Spain, the UK and The Netherlands during his 35+ years with Shell. He is a geoscientist by education with masters in structural geology and geophysics from the university of Utrecht in The Netherlands.
