Lucia Martinez is the Head of Energy and Natural Resources North America Group at Standard Chartered Bank. Based in Houston, she is responsible for regional strategy and client relationships across the Americas oil and gas franchise. Lucia has over 20 years of banking experience in the energy sector.  She joined Standard Chartered Bank’s Houston office in 2010.

Lucia previously worked at BNP Paribas Fortis, where she was a Director and Relationship Manager in the Offshore and Energy Services Group since 2006.  From 2003 to 2006 Lucia was a Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Oilfield Services Group of Calyon Corporate and Investment Bank.  Prior to Calyon, Lucia spent five years as an Associate in the Energy Group at CIBC Oppenheimer.

Lucia obtained the certification of Chartered Financial Analyst in 2003 and received her BS (Summa Cum Laude) in Finance and Marketing from Texas A&M University.
