Mauricio Roitman

Mauricio Roitman holds a master’s degree in economics with honors from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom, a diploma in energy economics and energy planning from Copime-IAE General Mosconi, and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). Mr. Roitman has taken several executive education courses including economics for regulation at the Center of economics studies for regulation (Centro de Estudios Economicos de la Regulación) of Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) and the World Bank. Before assuming his current position as Chairman of ENARGAS, he served as Undersecretary for Scenarios and Project Evaluation at the Ministry of Energy and Mines. Prior to that he worked at the consulting firm Montamat & Asociados and was Consulting Projects Director at Energy Consulting Services. He was also parliament advisor in the Commission for Energy and Mines at the Argentine Senate and parliament advisor in the Energy and Fuels Commission at the Chamber of Deputies.
