Michael Vallejo is the CFO of Arena Energy.  He manages Arena’s finance organization and is involved in strategic planning, risk management, and corporate development.  Mr. Vallejo formerly held senior positions at a variety of public and private companies and is well experienced in planning, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, and capital raising.

Arena Energy is a private exploration and production company focused on pursuing lower-risk opportunities that remain in the Gulf after 50+ years of development by larger oil companies. Over the past 19 years, Arena has organically grown its GOM shelf net production to approximately 35,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day through a consistent drilling program having completed over 275 wells.

Mr. Vallejo has an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin. He is also a CFA Charterholder and Certified Public Accountant.
