Miha Hribernik heads Verisk Maplecroft’s Asia Risk Insight team. He has substantial experience with analysing political, regulatory, economic and security risks for oil and gas, mining and financial services clients. Miha has been based in Singapore since September 2018, and had previously worked at Verisk Maplecroft’s offices in Bath, London and Beijing.

Prior to joining the company, Miha held research and project coordination roles in Brussels, Washington DC and Vienna. Between 2014 and 2019 he was also a non-resident research fellow at Pacific Forum, a US think tank specialised in international security. Miha holds a master’s degree in International Security from the University of Bristol and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Ljubljana.
