Mohamed is an Of Counsel lawyer member of Jones Day Project and Infrastructure practice. He advises on the development and financing of major projects in Africa and across the Middle East. He has over 15 years of experience acting for project sponsors and contractors, equity investors, financial institutions, state-owned entities, and governments on a wide variety of energy and infrastructure projects. His work encompasses upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas contracts; refinery, petrochemical, and independent power and water projects. Mohamed also advises on the corporate and commercial transactions linked to the establishment and operation of these facilities. Mohamed has extensive experience across several jurisdictions. He is familiar with and regularly advises clients on transactions governed by OHADA law, the common set of regulations applicable in 17 African countries. Mohamed is member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN).
