Oyeyemi Oke (FCA, LLM) is dual qualified as a Lawyer and Chartered Accountant. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds a Master of Business Law from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. Oyeyemi has over 12 years of experience and has advised various clients on legal and tax issues. He has also worked in the legal services division of an indigenous oil and gas company where he advised on various energy, finance, and tax issues.
Oyeyemi is currently advising project developers with regards to development of IPPs in Southern and Northern Nigeria and advising on the recent marginal field awards in Nigeria. He is also part of the team that is currently litigating on a tax claim in excess of one trillion naira.
Oyeyemi has been involved in landmark oil and gas transactions and was a team member in the Pre-Export Financing arrangements involving the NNPC and its JV Partners in which over $1bn was raised. Oyeyemi has advised on Service Agreements involving the NNPC and its subsidiary the NPDC covering 8 Oil Mining Leases.
Oyeyemi Oke is also Partner and Executive Director of Taxaide Professional Services Limited where he is charged with leading tax professionals in providing tax management services to clients. Oyeyemi has been able to provide tax solutions to clients in various sectors of the Nigeria economy.
